Roy Ponder, also known as POW Ponder on Weather, has had a lifelong love for weather. In 2017, his wife started a Facebook page to help him share his weather passion. His simple mission? "Protecting you before and after the storm."
From its humble Facebook beginnings, Roy's journey has grown. Now, you can find him on YouTube, where he provides daily nationwide forecasts and live reports during big weather events. With over 300,000 followers, Roy is grateful for the trust and support of his audience.
Roy, from McKinney, TX, enjoys life with his wife Chris, their two sons Dylan and Dalton, and their two furry friends, Roxy and Sunny. They're passionate about supporting local charities like Feed the City, working to end hunger and other important causes.
In everything he does, Roy's goal is clear: build a close community that relies on his weather updates and works together to make a positive impact in every aspect of life.
